Manufacturing Processes Involved in Metal Parts Processing
•Turning – This is a CNC machining method that uses a lathe and cutting tools to remove excess metal material from a rotating workpiece. CNC turning is highly suitable for manufacturing cylindrical parts.

•Milling – Milling operations use multiple rotating cutting tools to remove material from the workpiece. Milling processes feature cavities, slots, flat surfaces, complex contours, and chamfers.
•Drilling – Drilling creates a circular hole in a workpiece. Drilling machines or tapping machines are specialized for drilling, though milling machines can also perform this process. Boring enlarges existing cast holes or drilled holes; reaming enlarges previously drilled holes to extremely precise diameters.
•Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) – Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a process that removes material from a workpiece surface using the erosive action of electrical spark discharges. Wire EDM is widely used for secondary machining of aluminum parts, as certain complex components can only be achieved through EDM.
•Wire EDM—It employs a moving metal wire as the tool electrode, applying pulsed current between the wire and the workpiece. The corrosive effect of the pulsed discharge is utilized to cut and machine the workpiece.
